Doctor of Biological Sciences, Full Professor at the Biochemistry Division of the Department of Biology, TSU Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, she is Director of the Institute for Research of Molecular Mechanisms of Stress and has published 60 scientific works on neurochemistry in both local and foreign scientific journals and was awarded the P. Kometiani Prize.  She is author and co-author of six textbooks and has been awarded several scientific grants.
